Legendary country music superstar Willie Nelson will return to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Sullivan County this summer to perform during the Outlaw Music Festival Tour 2023.
Officials from Bethel Woods announced that Nelson will join Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Gov’t Mule, Kathleen Edwards and Particle Kid in this year’s performances. Country star Alison Krauss will also be touring with the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, but she will not be appearing at Bethel Woods.
Willie Nelson stated, “The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun, and with the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date. I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.”
The show will begin at 4:15pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Parking lots will open at 1:00pm. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
Last year, Nelson and ZZ Top were among several performers at Bethel Woods during the Outlaw Tour.
Nelson will turn 90 years old on April 29, 2023. Last month, he earned Grammy Awards for Best Country Album (“A Beautiful Time”) and Best Country Solo Performance (“Live Forever”). He has also been nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1993.
