The Town of New Windsor’s annual Memorial Day parade will step off this weekend, the town’s Recreation Department has announced.
The day of activities will begin with the annual ceremony at the Veterans Monument, located at the corner of Route 9W and Route 94. The remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 10:30am.
Later in the day, the town’s annual Memorial Day parade will step off from the New Windsor Post Office at 2:00pm. The parade route will continue along Route 94 and enter into the New Windsor School.
The parade is intended to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice as well as to cheer on surviving veterans. It will feature local fire departments, New Windsor EMS, the New Windsor Police Department, school bands, and many other organizations.
