A person was trapped beneath a truck that is currently engulfed in flames at a horrific accident scene in Washingtonville.
Moments ago, the Washingtonville Fire Department was dispatched to a serious motor vehicle accident involving a truck and motorcycle with entrapment and fire in the area of 137 Hulsetown Road, located off Route 94.
The Washingtonville Fire Department’s incident commander arrived on the scene and confirmed one patient was underneath the vehicle and it was engulfed in flames. The Chester Fire Department was called to the scene with a pumper.
A medevac helicopter was called to airlift the patient, but it was then cancelled. There is still no word if the patient survived.
Firefighters are still attempting to knock down the blaze.
