A person’s body that was found in a vehicle submerged in a pond off Route 17 in Goshen has been identified as a Blooming Grove woman who was reported missing.
Nicole Brown, age 45 from Blooming Grove, was last seen on November 30, 2022. The New York State Police Aviation Unit discovered the vehicle overturned and submerged in a retention pond off Exit 124 westbound on Route 17 yesterday afternoon.
The New York State Police dispatched troopers to the scene and discovered the deceased woman inside of the vehicle.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
