A vehicle was found submerged in a pond along Route 17 in Goshen this afternoon. A female occupant was deceased inside the vehicle.
The New York State Police Aviation Unit discovered the vehicle off Exit 124 westbound on Route 17 in Goshen at approximately 12:00pm today. The vehicle was overturned in a retention pond near the highway.
The State Police investigated and discovered the deceased female inside the vehicle.
Police are conducting an investigation and will provide updates as they become available. As of now, Troopers have not yet released the identity of the female.
