Multiple tractor trailers rolled over during the height of the ongoing snow storm overnight, leaving the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 closed.
First responders originally got the call shortly after midnight this morning for a motor vehicle accident involving multiple tractor trailers that rolled over between the old Exit 6 and Exit 7 in the westbound lanes of Interstate 84. The big rigs slid in the snow and some rolled over while another jackknifed and completely blocked the highway.
According to traffic cameras in the area, both of the westbound lanes were still blocked at 5:00am.
As of 7:30am, the New York State Department of Transportation reported the right lane remains blocked while traffic is slowly passing through the left lane.
No serious injuries were reported.
