The Newburgh Armory Unity Center will host a soccer showdown on New Year’s Day. Anyone who wishes to play can simply show up and pay the fee.
The New Year’s Day Showdown will begin at 10:30am and continue into the afternoon. Admission is $20 per player and can be paid while registering in person. All proceeds will be donated to the Newburgh Armory’s Saturday morning Enrichment Program.
Those wishing to attend with a group of friends can create their own team of seven players. No coaches are required.
The 7-9 year-old division registration will begin at 10:00am with a 10:30am game start. The 10-12 year-old division registration will begin at 11:30am. The 13-15 year-old division registration will begin at 12:30pm.
All teams are guaranteed to play five games of 18 minutes, consisting of five players per team.
Space is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis.
