A Guide to the Upcoming Election: Newburgh, New Windsor & Cornwall

Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 7, 2022, while others have already begun completing their early voting. In just over two weeks, the sides of the roads will return to normal and the automated phone calls asking for votes will finally stop.

The Newburgh News has compiled a list of all candidates currently running for various offices which will be elected by residents of the Town of Newburgh, City of Newburgh, New Windsor, and Cornwall.

Polls will be open from 6:00am to 9:00pm on Election Day.

Early voting in Orange County is taking place from October 29 through November 6, 2022. The following is a list of early voting locations and dates:

  • Cornwall – Cornwall EMS Building, 1 Clinton Street
  • Goshen – Caroline Building, 23 Hatfield Lane
  • Middletown – Middletown Senior Center, 62-80 West Main Street
  • City of Newburgh – Activity Center, 401 Washington Street
  • Monroe – Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike
  • Montgomery – Village of Montgomery Senior Center, 36 Bridge Street
  • Port Jervis – Delaware Engine #2, 22 Hammond Street
  • Warwick – Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway
