The New Windsor Recreation Department today announced plans to team up with Quickstrike FC, one of the nation’s most successful soccer programs, to offer an indoor, co-ed recreational soccer program this winter. The program is returning from last year and will be open to residents and non-residents.
Professional coaches from Quickstrike FC, along with some of their high school players, will work together to provide and mentor the participants with a dash of soccer fundamentals mixed with playing soccer games.
The program will be broken down by age groups. This will allow the level of training and competition to be appropriately adjusted based on the participant’s age. The age groups will be Born to Strike (ages 2-4); Little Strikers (ages 5-6); Quick Strikers (ages 7-12); and another Quick Strikers division (ages 13 and up).
The games will be played at the Vail’s Gate Elementary School on Wednesday evenings from January 4, 2023 through February 23, 2023. The exact times throughout each evening will be based on the age group.
The fee to attend is $65 for town residents and $75 for non-residents.
Space is limited. Anyone wishing to register can visit www.nwrecisfun.com.
