Kids Teaching Kids: NFA Athletes Read to Gardnertown Students

A group of student athletes from Newburgh Free Academy recently took the time to read to younger students at the Gardnertown Elementary School in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District.

Members of the NFA Cross Country Team visited Gardnertown School to read books to the elementary school aged students. The athletes had their younger peers fully engaged with each turn of the page.

Each of the athletes who participated are students at the NFA Main Campus. The student athletes included Brady Danyluk, Logan Conn, Joey Santo, and Devin Batelic.

Gardnertown School teacher Jodi Lewis was reunited with two of her former students who visited her kindergarten class to read.
