Newburgh Free Academy Varsity Track & Field senior Angelisse Diaz broke a school record this year, which was previously set by her.
The rising star broke the record at a state qualifier meet. She cleared 10 feet for the new record. The previous school record, also set by Diaz, was for 9 feet.
Diaz competes under the direction of NFA Girls Varsity Track & Field Head Coach Kathi Workman.
