The Newburgh Town Board will discuss several proposed personnel changes during a workshop meeting at Town Hall at 7:00pm tomorrow.
Among the agenda items are authorization to hire a full-time police officer, as well as promoting a sergeant to the rank of lieutenant.
The Highway Department will be requesting four full-time laborers. The Water Department will request to hire a part-time clerk.
The Board will also discuss a request from the Town Assessor to compensate Board of Assessment Review members.
In addition, salary increases will be discussed for the town’s part-time employees.
Since this is a workshop, no proposals will be approved at this meeting. Anything brought forward from these discussions would advance to the regular Town Board meeting.
