Town of Newburgh Announces Memorial Day Services, Parade

The Town of Newburgh’s schedule for its upcoming Memorial Day services has been announced by the town’s Recreation Department.

This year’s services will be led by Grand Marshal Matt Zuniga. Services and the parade will both be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

The day will start off with the town’s annual Memorial Day service in front of the Town Hall, located on Route 300, at 10:30am.

The annual Memorial Day parade will step off at 1:00pm. The parade will begin on Union Avenue in front of the American Legion. It will turn right onto Route 300, left onto Route 52 in front of the Dairy Queen, left onto Powder Mill Road next to the Winona Lake firehouse, and end at Cronomer and Algonquin Parks.

Numerous first responder agencies, school bands, and civic organizations are planning to participate.
