Town of Newburgh Police Detective Promoted to Sergeant

A Town of Newburgh Police Department detective was promoted to sergeant during a ceremony at the Town Board meeting on Tuesday.

Detective John Rader was ceremoniously sworn in as Sergeant in front of his family members, friends, and colleagues at the Newburgh Town Hall. Judge Richard Clarino administered the Oath of Office.

Sergeant Rader has been with the Town of Newburgh since March 2016 and was promoted to Detective in October 2018.

Town of Newburgh Supervisor Gil Piaquadio congratulated Sergeant Rader on his promotion.
