The Town of Newburgh Police Department recently visited the Horizons-on-the-Hudson Elementary School in the City of Newburgh to discuss internet safety.
Officer Adam Geyer made his special visit to the school on Friday to talk to students about the importance of being safe on the internet. He discussed ways to prevent situations that can occur while surfing the internet, posting to social media, or even while playing video games.
Geyer handed out packets to the Horizons scholars with tips to keep their internet activity fun and safe.
