New Windsor Rec Seeks Seasonal and Summer Workers

The Town of New Windsor Recreation Department is looking for seasonal and summer workers to fill several jobs.

Those seeking temporary employment options with the Recreation Department must be at least 16 years old to apply. The following is a list of currently available jobs:

Field Crew– Every weekend from April through November, the Recreation Department hosts tournaments at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park. They are looking for employees to work during the events taking care of fields, picking up litter, park maintenance, cleaning, and more. Employees will be trained and must be available to work weekends. 

Concession Stand Staff Tournaments-  Every weekend from April into November, the Recreation Department hosts tournaments at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park. They are seeking employees to work during the events at their full service concession stand taking care of customers, working the cash register, running food, food preparation, and more. Applicants who are over 18 years old can work in the back making the food. All employees will be trained.

Summer Camp Counselor- Summer camp takes place for six weeks in the summer from July 5, 2023 through August 11, 2023. Applicants must be available during the day from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Supervision and play with the campers is required. 

Concession Stand Staff During Camp- This is similar to the Concession Stand Staff Tournament jobs, but the applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm from July 5, 2023 through August 11, 2023.
