The Newburgh Enlarged City School District announced today that they are seeking community readers for Read Across America Day.
The nationwide event will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
To celebrate this important day and to highlight the importance of literacy throughout the community, the District is welcoming volunteers to read to students. Anyone interested in participating complete a form and submit it to the District no later than February 22, 2023. The form can be submitted online here.
The district is welcoming alumni, business owners, elected officials, current students, family members, friends, professionals and more to share their favorite story with students.
