Vehicles were so mangled that firefighters needed to cut them apart to rescue some of the victims of a four-car accident in New Windsor on Friday afternoon.
At approximately 3:35pm on Friday, February 3, 2023, the Vail’s Gate Fire Department, New Windsor Police Department, and New Windsor EMS responded to a reported four-car accident with serious injuries at the intersection of Route 207 and Toleman Road in the town’s west end.
The Vail’s Gate Fire Department was able to muster up a dozen volunteer firefighters to respond and quickly rescue the victims. “Thank you to our 12 responding members for your hard work,” Vail’s Gate Fire Department officials stated.
There is still no word as to the extent of the injuries.
