Brig. Gen. Gary R. Charlton, II, the Commander of the Air National Guard 105th Airlift Wing, has some inspiring words for those under his command this holiday season. The 105th Airlift Wing is located at Stewart Airport in the Town of Newburgh.
Charlton thanked all of the members of the 105th Airlift Wing for their “selfless dedication and hard work” this past year.
“You have performed brilliantly, with the professionalism our nation expects of us,” he declared.” He added that the members have demonstrated that the 105th Airlift Wing “is the premier C-17A Wing” in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Air National Guard.
Charlton urged the membership to keep all of the deployed military and their families in their thoughts and prayers this holiday season.
“We look forward to celebrating their safe return home and all their amazing accomplishments while deployed,” Charlton observed.
