Mount Students Volunteer to Help Local Children at Newburgh Armory

Science and Technology Education majors from Mount Saint Mary College turned out at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center on Tuesday to provide a night full of educational fun for local children.

The Mount students guided the children in an ice cream making experiment. This marked the third Science Night event at the Armory hosted by Mount students since October.

The final Science Night is scheduled for Tuesday, November 29 from 5 to 6 p.m. The Armory is located at 321 South William Street, Newburgh.

Mount Saint Mary College enjoys an excellent relationship with the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. Both institutions are making ongoing efforts to provide education and service to the local community.
