The Town of Newburgh Recreation Department announced today that registration has begun for this winter’s indoor youth sports leagues.
Registration is now underway for Town of Newburgh residents. Non-residents registration will begin on November 21, 2022.
The Indoor Youth Soccer League will be played this winter at the Meadow Hill Elementary School. The season will begin on January 7, 2023. Residents will pay $50 per child while non-residents will pay $60 per child.
The soccer games will be played at various times based on the age groups. Those ages 3 and 4 will play on Saturdays at 9:00am, 10:00am, and 11:00am. Ages 5 through 7 will play on Saturdays at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, and 2:00pm. Ages 8 through 10 will play on Saturdays at 9:00am, 10:00am, and 11:00am. Ages 11 through 13 will play on Saturdays at 12:00pm and 1:00pm.
The 2023 Youth Basketball League will also be played at the Meadow Hill Elementary School. The season will begin on January 3, 2022. The cost for residents is $50 per child while the cost for non-residents is $60 per child.
Game times for all age groups will be at 5:45pm and 6:45pm. The games will be broken up into three age groups. Children ages 5 through 7, as well as the ages 8 through 10 group, will play on Tuesdays. Children ages 11 through 13 will play on Wednesdays.
