It is our policy to only print felony arrests. Some misdemeanor arrests may be published if they are of notable interest. All persons listed herein have not yet had their day in court and are innocent until proven guilty in court.
State Police (Troop F):
- Byran D. Guerrero-Asencio, age 19 of Elizabeth, NJ, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 12:44pm on Tuesday, 11/1/2022, following an incident that occurred on May 11, 2017. he was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, a Class D felony; and Conspiracy in the 5th degree, a Class A misdemeanor. He was remanded to police custody.
- Neil D. Peterson, age 49 of New Windsor, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 11:34pm on Saturday, 10/29/2022. He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle – Alcohol in the 1st degree; DWI with a Previous Conviction in 10 Years; and Aggravated DWI Per Se with one prior, all Class E felonies. He was released to a third party.
- Jacabo Guzman Ramirez, age 31 of Staten Island, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 2:15am on Sunday, 10/30/2022. He was charged with DWI with a Previous Conviction in 10 years and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% or More with a Prior, both Class E felonies; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree and Circumventing an Interlock – Operator without a Device, both Class A misdemeanors. He was released to a third party.
