The St. Thomas Church in Cornwall and the Knights of Columbus will team up to hold a food drive on the weekend before Thanksgiving.
The church, part of the St. Marianne Cope Outreach, announced the food drive will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9:00am to 11:00am. The purpose of the food drive is to help people get through the holidays into the winter.
The items needed are soups, canned tuna and chicken, individually wrapped snacks (apple sauce, pudding, soft bars), bottled water, cereal, oatmeal, pasta (no spaghetti) and sauce, canned vegetables and fruit, Spaghetti O’s, pop tarts, mac and cheese, Ramen noodles, mashed potatoes, rice, peanut butter (creamy only), jelly, coffee, teas, hygiene products (toothpaste, toothbrushes), detergents, dish soap, hand soaps, shampoo, paper products, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Monetary donations are welcome to assist with perishable items.
