City of Newburgh Trunk-or-Treat Rescheduled Due to Weather Forecast

The annual trunk-or-treat event in the City of Newburgh has been rescheduled due to the weather forecast on Halloween evening.

The event, which was originally scheduled to be held on Monday night, will now be held this Sunday night instead – October 30, 2022. The event time of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. remains the same.

The trunk-or-treat will still be held at the original intended location on Broadway between Liberty Street and Colden Street. It will be located in front of Church at the Bridge, a co-sponsor of the event. This section of the street will be closed to vehicles.

The current Halloween forecast calls for light rain on Halloween evening, as per the forecast generated at Vail’s Gate Tower, a weather tower operated by The Newburgh News, LLC. The forecast and real-time conditions can be viewed here.
