St. Thomas Church in Cornwall is inviting worshipers to provide photographs of recently deceased family members or friends for an upcoming special mass on All Souls Day.
This annual celebration of All Souls Day reminds us of the overwhelming mercy of God and strengthens our hope of reunion with those who have died, according to St. Thomas Church officials.
In addition to the church’s 8:30am mass, the parish will also celebrate a special All Souls Mass at 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. A holy hour of prayer and adoration will precede the mass at 6:00pm.
Anyone who is mourning the recent loss of a loved one is invited to bring a 3×5 framed photo of their deceased to be placed near the sanctuary for the All Souls Day masses. Photos should be dropped off in advance at the parish office by Sunday, October 30, 2022. The name of the deceased, your name, and a telephone number should be clearly printed.
