Two students from the Cornwall Central School District have been selected to perform in the All-State Mixed Chorus Winter Conference just before the holidays, the district’s Music Department proudly announced today.
Cornwall students Madeline D’Arco and Carson McLendon have been named to the All-State Mixed Chorus to be held in Rochester, NY from December 1 through December 4, 2022. The mixed chorus is part of the New York State School Music Association.
Thousands of students auditioned for this honor last spring at the solo festivals throughout New York State. D’Arco and McLendon were selected and will represent the Cornwall Central School District.
Both young ladies earned perfect scores on their NYSSMA solos last spring.
