A large power outage has been reported in the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Power to much of the area went out at approximately 5:43 pm this evening. An estimated 665 customers are currently without power.
The outage is effecting part of Route 9W just south of the Forge Hill Road intersection in New Windsor. It continues across part of Main Street and down the entire Route 218 corridor through the village. Many of the neighborhoods behind the Storm King Engine Company are also impacted. The outage continues down to the waterfront.
Central Hudson has crews responding and claims the power should be restored by 8:00 pm.
