Town of Newburgh Firefighters Help Search for Missing Toddler

Volunteer firefighters from the Town of Newburgh joined in the search for a missing two year-old boy in the Town of Montgomery last night. The boy was successfully found.

The Montgomery Police Department was originally called for a missing boy from Powers Lane at 5:10pm last night. Police called for help from the Montgomery Fire Department to begin searching for the youngster. The Montgomery Fire Department then called for additional agencies to widen the search.

The Coldenham and Winona Lake Fire Departments, both from the Town of Newburgh, joined the Walden Fire Department in responding with UTVs to look for the child.

The boy was ultimately found by a City of Middletown Police K9, who also joined in the search efforts. The toddler was reportedly in good health.
