City of Newburgh Police Officer Visits HOH School

City of Newburgh Police Officer Nick Guccione visited the Horizons-on-the-Hudson Elementary School on Friday in recognition of National Police Week.

During the lunchtime visit, Guccione answered a range of questions for the young, inquisitive students. Some of the children expressed their desires to one day become a police officer. Guccione provided them with encouraging words amongst several smiles while he answered their questions.

Guccione’s visit was one of many visits across the Newburgh Enlarged City School District during National Police Week, which was created to pay homage and to honor those officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
