The Town of Newburgh’s annual Memorial Day service and parade are set to take place next Sunday.
The day of remembrance will begin with a Memorial Day service at the Newburgh Town Hall on Route 300 at 11:00am on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
The parade will follow, stepping off at 1:00pm. The parade route will begin at the American Legion Hall on Union Avenue and turn right onto Route 300. At Route 52 by the Dairy Queen, the parade will turn left, continue past the Winona Lake firehouse, and turn left onto Powder Mill Road. It will end at Cronomer and Algonquin Parks.
This year’s Grand Marshal of the parade is Hal Tragis.
