Newburgh Town Board Swears in New Police Sergeant

The Newburgh Town Board swore in a new police sergeant during their regular meeting recently.

Town of Newburgh Police Officer Clayton Dubois was sworn in as a sergeant by Town Justice Jude Martini. The oath was administered in a room filled with fellow officers, friends, and family members.

The Town Board members congratulated Sgt. Dubois. Town Supervisor Gil Piaquadio thanked the Town Board members for supporting the police department.

Piaquadio stated, “This Police Department is the reason the Town of Newburgh is one of the safest municipalities in the United States.”
