Two freshman members of the Newburgh Free Academy Debate Team recently earned their first two career debate competition victories.
On May 9, the NFA Debate Team virtually competed in the Brooklyn Debate League Tournament. Freshmen Jenell Rosales and Ciara Alvarez worked hard to begin their debate careers and won.
The NFA Debate Team is coached by teacher Matt Brown.
