Fostertown School Hosts Dino Night

Fostertown School in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District held an interactive “Dino Night” event recently, aimed at teaching science students about dinosaurs.

Dino Night was hosted by Fostertown School’s Science Club. Over 100 people attended the event and participated in a variety of interactive dinosaur themed activities paired with informational booths and displays created by the Science Club members. These booths offered interesting facts about carnivore, herbivore, flying and aquatic dinosaurs along with information about dinosaur habitats and fossils.

Science teacher Mr. Garzione, who is also the coordinator of the Science Club, made a volcano erupt in the middle of the event. There was also a human-sized T-Rex roaming around the building.
