The Town of Newburgh has added a new police officer to their ranks.
Officer Nicole Wakefield was sworn in as a full-time police officer during a recent Newburgh Town Board meeting. She previously served as a part-time officer for the Town of Newburgh Police Department.
Town of Newburgh Justice Jude Martini administered the oath to Wakefield in the Newburgh Town Hall in the presence of supporting friends, family, and fellow officers.
Town of Newburgh Supervisor Gil Piaquadio congratulated Wakefield and thanked all the
supporting officers, friends, and family members in attendance.
