The City of Newburgh, in collaboration with Team Newburgh and the New York Counterdrug Taskforce, will host the Mobile Drug Take Back Day on April 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This mobile event will allow the public to safely dispose of unused prescription medications at pop-up locations throughout the City and provide prevention information to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting. Site visits include:
- Cornerstone Residence
- Varick Peterson Homes
- Burton Towers
- Lake Street Apartments and more
Staff will be onsite to answer any question to fight the spread of illicit drugs through community outreach and education.
