In recognition of National Drinking Water Week, the City of Newburgh Water Department will be hosting an open house on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
The open house includes a plant tour, GAC plant tour, distribution tour, lab tour, water tasting, and questions and answers with staff.
Anyone interested in seeing first-hand how water travels from its source to your tap can reserve a spot now. All interested parties should call the Water Department at (845) 565-3356 to reserve a spot.
The water filtration plant is located at 493 Little Britain Road.
