Pre-K students at the Gidney Avenue Memorial School in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District participated in an art project yesterday.
The event was in celebration of “Week of the Young Child.” The week-long activities are to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families, and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.
The pre-K students were all smiles as they created butterflies using pre-cut paper, crayons, shapes and other materials.
