Balmville School Celebrates Women’s History Month

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District’s Balmville School has been busy celebrating Women’s History Month, which was March.

The display case in Balmville School’s main hallway features a display celebrating Women’s History Month.  Second grade teachers Mrs. Shuta, Mrs. Collier, Mrs. Cifuni and Mrs. Fonseca, and their students, created the display. It spotlights the many achievements of women from all walks of life.

From Harriet Tubman to Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotamayor, the display honors just some of the contributions of women throughout history.
