Cornerstone Dental Van Visits GAMS

The Cornerstone Family Healthcare Dental Van visited the Newburgh School District’s Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS) today to promote dental hygiene.

Cornerstone’s Outreach Coordinator Lesly Retamozo explained to the children the importance of eating healthy foods and brushing their teeth daily.  During the students’ dental screenings, Cornerstone Dental Hygienist Christina reiterated the value of brushing their teeth a minimum of two times per day.

A total of 92 GAMS students received a dental screening, a Dental Examination Report Card for their parents, and a goodie bag containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, a sand timer and dental hygiene tips.
