Maureen Greco of Newburgh, NY passed away peacefully at home with her children, grandchildren, and beloved brother James at her side on Monday, May 8, 2023.
She was the daughter of the late Helen (Pitcher) O’Hara and James P. O’Hara, born on April 26, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY.
Maureen, a local businesswoman, worked along with her son, Brian at BC & N Carpet for 25+ years. Upon her retirement, she went on to enjoy her time with her family and friends in both Newburgh and Florida.
Survivors include her children, John McCutcheon, Brian McCutcheon, and Lisa LaGrotta; grandchildren, Nicole McCutcheon (Oscar Hernandez), Mike McCutcheon (Katie Hanlon), Robert McCutcheon, Cameron McCutcheon (Allison Meredith), Jade McCutcheon, Melissa LaGrotta, and Freddie LaGrotta; great-grandchildren Sienna and Max Hernandez; siblings, James O’Hara, Sharon Iudica, Patricia Coakley, and Emil Roggendorf; along with beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her fur babies, Jake and Buddy.
She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas “Bobby” O’Hara; and her son, Harvey Dennison and his wife, Maryellen.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses at St. Luke’s 5th floor, Anne and Emily, for the care and kindness shown toward our mother.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM. A funeral home service will take place at Brooks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 16 at 11 AM, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
