A retired New Windsor Police detective who once cracked cases for a living now has his fans all cracked up.
Larry DiGregorio served his community by working for the New Windsor Police Department for 22 years, serving as a patrolman and then becoming a detective. After his retirement, he started doing stand-up comedy for the Parx Casino and has worked gigs at many other venues.
Some of DiGregorio’s acts are no laughing matter. He has done several performances as fund-raisers to raise money for causes such as breast cancer and Funny4Funds.com, which raises money for numerous charities.
Last year, he performed at Town of Newburgh EMS Day. He also performed at the Newburgh Brewing Company as a fund-raiser to make strides against breast cancer in the Hudson Valley.
On Friday, May 19, 2023, DiGregorio will perform during Comedy Night at Chilito’s, located at the Newburgh Mall near Resorts World Casino. DiGregorio will join fellow comedians Jason McLaren from Broadway Comedy and Tom Anzalone from The Borgata.
Doors will open at 6:00pm and showtime will begin at 8:00pm. The cost for dinner and the 90-minute comedy show is $50. To reserve seats, call (973) 908-1811.
