Donna Marie Highland-Shafranek, 59, passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 7, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones at home. She lost her battle to pancreatic cancer after two years.
Donna was born February 2, 1964, to Donald & Gerri Highland. In November 1999, Donna found her soulmate best friend and partner in crime Kenneth Walters. The two of them created a loving, happy, prosperous life for the last 23 years.
Donna leaves behind her sons Christopher Shafranek, Kyle & (Logan) Shafranek, her grand-daughters Giavanna Marie & Brooklyn Leigh; her sister Deborah; her 3 nephews; along with many friends.
She was a charitable gentle loving soul who loved traveling, Disney, and spending time with loved ones. She worked at Adams Fairacre Farm in Newburgh, NY for the past 16+ years.
Donna had asked before her death that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11 from 5 P. M – 8 P. M. with a service at 7:30 P.M.
