Culinary and photography students at Newburgh Free Academy joined forces to celebrate the Irish culture in honor of St. Patrick’s Day yesterday.
Students in Chef Jennifer Carson’s culinary class at Newburgh Free Academy learned how to make Irish soda bread during the holiday. Students discussed the ingredients and the origins of the sweet treat before measuring, mixing, and making the festive bread.
Students in photography teacher Gina Carbone’s class turned out to photograph the culinary delight being created.
