Award-winning singer Debbie Gibson will perform in Middletown, NY this June. The pop singer gained international attention in the 1980s and 1990s with several hit songs that topped the Billboard charts.
Gibson notably performed at Delano-Hitch Stadium in the City of Newburgh over two decades ago. The formerly renowned Chianti’s Restaurant catered dinner for Gibson and her entourage.
Gibson is now hitting the road on her “The Body Remembers Encore” tour and will perform across the country this spring and summer.
On June 10, 2023, Gibson will perform at the Paramount Theatre in the City of Middletown. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show will begin at 8:00pm. Tickets range from $39.50 to $59.50. Tickets can be purchased online from the Parmount Theatre here.
Gibson will be arriving in Middletown after performing in Manchester, New Hampshire on June 8, 2023. Her June 10 stop will be the only local performance, as she will be continuing onto North Carolina for a June 15 show.
Gibson was born on Long Island in 1970. In 1987, she became the youngest female to write, perform, and produce a Billboard Hot 100 number one single. She was also the sole songwriter on all of her singles that reached the top 20 of Billboard’s Hot 100.
In 1988, at the age of 18, Gibson earned Billboard’s Top Pop Album Artist Female award. In 1989, she was the runner-up for the same award.
Also in 1989, she released a double-platinum album that gave her another number one hit, “Lost in Your Eyes,” which would become one of her most well-known songs (music video below).
