The Newburgh News, LLC will now begin exposing dangerous drivers in periodic video compilations. Those who do something illegal and dangerous on local roadways will risk having a video of their bad behavior in the news.
As roadways become more congested around the area, drivers are becoming more impatient and taking many more risks. Similarly, as the region becomes more crowded, the population of lunatics behind the wheel also continues to grow.
The Newburgh News is cracking down on bad drivers in an attempt to deter motorists from committing dangerous and illegal acts. Motorists who run red lights, erratically weave in and out of traffic, excessively tailgate, commit acts of road rage, and more, will be highlighted in upcoming segments.
Newburgh News reporters will be out on roadways throughout our coverage area at random times and locations taking videos of dangerous acts. We will focus on some of the more troublesome locations.
However, we invite our readers to submit dash cam or cell phone videos of dangerous acts on local roadways. Of course, do not use your cell phone to record if you are driving.
Your name will not be published and you may submit your videos anonymously — now and in the future. Please give us details of the incident, including the date, time, specific location, and a description of the incident. The video size must be 25mb or smaller.
