Police Blotter – 1/6/2023

It is our policy to only print felony arrests. Some misdemeanor arrests may be published if they are of notable interest or if they include driving under the influence charges due to the danger to public safety. All persons listed herein have not yet had their day in court and are innocent until proven guilty in court.

State Police (Troop F):

  • Michael Rodriguez, age 39 of Plattekill, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 11:08pm on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a Class A misdemeanor; Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs in the 1st degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree, both misdemeanors. He was released to a third party.
  • Alexander C. Eugene, age 34 of Newburgh, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 1:26am on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was charged with DWI With a Previous Conviction in 10 Years, a Class E felony. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
  • Emmanuel Gerard, age 22 of the Bronx, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 1:00am on Saturday, January 1, 2023. He was charged with DWI 1st Offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% 1st Offense, both misdemeanors. He was released to a third party.
  • Tlaya Burden, age 29 of Newburgh, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 3:00am on Saturday, January 1, 2023. She was charged with DWI 1st Offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% 1st Offense, both misdemeanors. She was released to a third party.
  • Robert N. Labar, age 42 of Newburgh, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 8:30pm on Saturday, January 1, 2023. He was charged with DWI 1st Offense, a misdemeanor. He was released to a third party.
  • Michael Beamon, age 55 of Newburgh, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 1:01am on Monday, January 3, 2023. He was charged with DWI 1st Offense, a misdemeanor. He was released to a third party.

State Police (Troop T):

  • No incidents within The Newburgh News’ reporting criteria.
