Mount Saint Mary College announced today that winter classes are now running as planned following a cybersecurity incident that had impacted operations.
Last month, college officials were forced to take the system offline after a security problem occurred within their computer network. Upon completion of the winter recess, the college announced that all winter interim classes were postponed until further notice due to the incident.
The operation of Spring 2023 classes were not in question. At this time, those classes are still expected to run as planned.
Officials announced today that the winter interim classes have now resumed according to their normal schedules. As of today, all computer systems that utilize the college’s central server still remain offline.
The college continues working with a team of experts to fully understand the extent and implications of the incident and to safely restore operations.
