Nancy E. Torres, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2022 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY. She was 83 years old.
The daughter of the late Arturo Moya and Hilda (Padilla) Moya, Nancy was born on November 26, 1938 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.
Nancy was a retired Fashion Designer for Fashions in New York City, NY.
Nancy was a 47-year resident of the town of Cornwall. She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of Cornwall and St. Thomas of Canterbury Church. She enjoyed traveling, Mahjong, bowling, and painting. Nancy enjoyed being surrounded by family and you never left her home hungry. She will be missed greatly.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband: Hector Torres at home; her sons: Jeffrey A. Torres and his wife LeeAnn of Raleigh, NC and Vincent H. Torres and his wife Angela of Fairfax Station, VA; her grandchildren: Matthew (Jane), Bailee, Katia, Luka, and Silka; and by her brother: Edgar Bonilla.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
