Local Fire Departments Win Trophies in County Parade

Firefighters from across Orange County descended on the Town of Newburgh yesterday to compete in the Orange County Volunteer Firemen’s Association’s annual parade.

The inspection parade was hosted by the Good-Will Fire Department, although it was mostly held in the Winona Lake Fire Department’s jurisdiction. The parade was part of the 107th annual convention held by the county Volunteer Firemen’s Association. In addition to the firemen’s parade held in the Town of Newburgh, the Good-Will Fire Department also celebrated their 75th anniversary.
