Newburgh Schools Food Service Workers Receive Training

These school employees often work hard behind the scenes but seldom receive any public recognition.

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District’s Food Service employees gathered for training at the Newburgh Free Academy Main Campus auditorium to prepare for the upcoming school year.

Caitlin Lazarski, the Director of Food Services for the NECSD, hosted the training. Guest speakers were featured.

The day’s events were shared with the food service staff from the Middletown Enlarged City School District.

The training was followed by an indoor barbecue in the school cafeteria which featured hamburgers, hot dogs, fruit, cookies, and more.
